Absolutes

I just got done reading a book called Thr3e by Ted Dekker. Amazing book, you should read it. Anyways it got me thinking....

Sins of this world, which sin is actually greatest. Murder, Adultery, Gossip, lying? well the answer is they are all equal. They are all going to send you to hell unless you give your life to Christ and repent. It doesn't matter if your a Pastor or a Murderer on Death row, your going to hell for your sins unless you repent of them. If you hide them in the dark like most christians do then they are going to grow because sins grow in the dark. It is when they are exposed to the light that they die. Jesus is that light. Most Christians believe that they can hide their sins and no one will ever know but that's not true, the longer you hide your sin in the dark the more that sin grows but when you bring it out in the open and expose it, it dies... Look at politicians involved in scandals, they hide their sins for years hoping that if they hide them then no one will ever find out but one day, sin exposes itself and it's up to you to bring it into light and kill that sin. Everyone is capable of murder because Jesus says hate is murder and I know that most humans hate someone. Gossip is a form of hatred so that is murder as well. So that means the Pope, Pastor, that little old lady who has been a Christian for years are all capable of murder, they are all capable of evil. But all evil is, the absence of God, It's an absolute.

We are all capable of choosing a life without God so in truth we are all capable of choosing evil... God has given us this choice of choosing a life with Him. So many times we choose sin over Him and that is when we choose death over life, darkness over light, evil over good. We all have our inner man who is constantly fighting between good and evil. It's when we choose to vanquish evil out of our life and anything to do with him (the devil) that we choose what God has in store for us which is a relationship with him, not a religion. Religion I believe is the devil's absolute to relationship with God. We all have good in us, we all have evil in us because we are human, we fail... But God is a loving God and doesn't want us to fail anymore, He has sent His Son down so that we can have help choosing good over evil, life over death, light over darkness. His Son has given us the power to vanquish the evil or sin in our lives. But the thing is.... He has given us a choice because yes even God wants to be chosen and has the desire to be worshipped but the difference is, God deserves it.

So to conclude all of this, 1. Which sin is greatest? none they are equal and going to send you to hell unless we choose Christ and confess our sins and repent 2.Sin dies in the light so don't give it what it wants and that is to be kept a secret, expose it to God and maybe others so that they can help you. 3. We are all capable of evil 4. Our inner man is constantly fighting the fight between good and evil but we must choose good. 5. We have been given help to choose good but we have the choice to accept Christ's help to have this relationship where we can live an evil-free life. 6. God loves us and deserves our love back

Blessings

So now it's past the 1st of October and I am 18 and even after one depressing night that with help from God and Angel I turned it around and now have an even strong relationship with my Creator. Since that night it's like I have received blessing after blessing. Let me tell you about what has happened thus far...

Thursday my Dad came home from work and asked me if I wanted to buy a car for $600 and of course I said yes, He told me about it and everything and told me to look it up online and see what they look like and stuff which I did. It was a great little car. I didnt think much of it and just continued the night on.

The following day I had some errands to run such as renewing my id, stopping by the post office, the bank, picking up my check, cashing it etc. So I left early and headed down to the DOL and was praying the whole way that I wouldn't have to wait very long which I got there and after 20 minutes I had my new id. Then I headed to the Post Office and picked up a Selective Service Form and put it in my backpack, then it was off to Papa John's to get my check. I arrived at Papa John's and grabbed my check and headed to Food Pavillion to cash it. I got there and all I had was the temporary id card and they couldn't use it but since Kim (the lady at the counter who my family has known forever) knew me and knew I cashed there regularly she asked the manager and I was able to use my expired id. God is good. So with my check cashed I head to the bank. I got to the bank and got in line and told the teller I would like to open an account with only one id and then she preceded to ask me questions about age and stuff then told me to sit in the chairs and wait. So I was thinking oh great I'm going to be here forever. Then eventually this lady came up and asked me if I needed anything and she helped me to set up a checking and savings account there at Wamu. So I should get checks and debit card in the mail here shortly.

Then on Sunday I got to play bass because Pastor Gale was in the hospital with a heart attack but God is blessing the Bennetts and since she was there Darrin had to lead worship so I played bass and then after church my Dad called the guy with the car and eventually the guy called back and my Dad went out there to check out the car. It was a silver/grey 1998 Dodge Neon, automatic, 4 cylinder and in very good condition. The guy and I worked out an agreement of $500 down and two payments of $100 out of my next two paychecks. My dad took the money today and the agreement for him to sign and the car is on my way of being completly mine. God is amazing. Now I just pray that insurance will be cheap and so will the transferring of the title and registration after it's paid off. I'm just so excited about what God has been doing.

and to top it off this weekend is Youth Conference and it's going to be amazing.
